HYBRID COMPOSIT
The MOCK-UP
For a quick and effective realization of the wax-up in the patient's mouth. Understood as demonstration and means of motivation for the patient to show how a definite solution could look like, i.e. you let the patient do a "test run". Two possible applications for a mock-up are:
1. Mock-up direct: A paste-like composite to be freely applied and modeled directly in the patient's mouth.
2. Mock-up direct flow: At first, an outer rim is made from the wax-up using Matrix flow clear. In the next step, Mock-up direct flow is poured into the rim which is then repositioned in the patient's mouth where it polymerizes.
The idea behind Mock-up is to use the mock-up and the following temporary to demonstrate the patient how the definite restoration could look like. The changes to be done are simple, easy to learn and steadily occurring sequences of work.
